Merry Christmas Children

Mist and rain by us this Christmas. Not under any condition like the day beneath, when I made the shot underneath, of my children, years prior, only in from the snow. Saw both of them today, all adult. Such a great amount to be appreciative for. Home with Annie, endured one more year of making pictures. Best to for the occasions and the new year. Much to be appreciative for, much to anticipate. All best, and, as constantly, more tk...

The Greatest Muppet Movie

The greatest Muppet movie ever made! Rundown: The Muppets are reunited to put on a show at the old theater. We can expect songs and mayhem, and a few Muppet characters that have been rarely seen since the passing of the unique and beloved Jim Henson. Reason to Believe: The titular legacy-salvaging return to a classic ramblin' Muppets style with some decent guest stars and a better level of music than the direct-to-video fare that Henson Studios has put out in the 90s and 00s. Your basic "this one will be good" relaunch. Reason to Sigh: Steve Whitmire's inferior Kermit performance.

Soliciting Advice

Let the title of this post be my question, and the picture be your guide to what advice I am seeking. My circumstance is something I find highly difficult, and as all persons are unique individuals, discovering what would be best may take some time (and I want to know right now dammit). If you feel you can help, let's work on finding a way to contact so I can give the full story. After all, that will be necessary in order for good advice to be rendered.

A Trip in Romania - Arriving to The Airport

Bucharest’s main airport is named Henri Coanda and it can be found on the DN1,17 km North of the city. This airport was opened in 1970 and extended recently. Now, it is more efficient and spacious. Distance to gates can vary from one airport to another and this may require several minutes of walking. After you get out of the plane, your luggage will come very fast. You can easily find an ATM, a shop where you can buy newspapers. You can also take a taxi but you have to pay attention to the ID number of it. Don’t use the cars named "rapid cars" because they are usually overpriced. Don’t want to use a taxi? Another option is the bus 783,which stops in front of internal arrivals and goes to the city center .You can also rent a car because there are companies that can offer you a fully equipped car according to international conventions (space for your luggage, comfortable seats, air conditioning). Companies like that provides you with foreign languages speaking guides. Some companies offers an entire fleet of cars for very good prices and remarkable discounts. So, if you come in Romania with your business partners or with your friends, there are answers for all your "movement" problems. Other companies offer you a personal driver, either for travel business or if you are in a holiday. The driver will be at your disposal even if you have to join events like: dinner, cocktail, even wedding or reception. You don’t have to worry for your security because personal drivers are licensed, they speak English, have a bussines dress code and more than 15 years of experience. For high quality services, you have to order your driver  with at least one day before the event.

There are other companies all over the country that can provide you airport transfer. For example, Agar company offers you transfer to the International Airport "Traian Vuia" of Timisoara or to the International Airport of Arad. According to the number of the passengers that need to be transferred, the service’s cost can vary as follows: Timisoara between 1 to 3 people, the price is 30 euro for a car and between 4 and 8 people the price is 50 euro for a car; Arad-between 1 to 3 people, the price is 70 euro for a car and between 4 and 8 people, the price is 120 euro for a car. To be sure that the company chooses the right vehicle for your own comfort , it’s good to say what is the amount of luggage you have. Also, if you choose Aparthotel, you will be free of charge for your transfer on arrival and departure. This company also offers technical assistance and towing in case of an accident or if there is a malfunction that makes you unable to continue your journey. The technical team will assist you professionally. Of course, this service is available 24/7. Other companies offer transfers from Bucharest to any destination in Romania and backward and may have prices per vehicle, not per person, prices that include all taxes and fees. Of course, if you want to feel special, you can choose limousines driven by experienced professional persons. We’d also like to let you know that, in case you find yourself in London in the search of the same type of airport transfer service, 247 Heathrow Airport Transfer offers transport to and from Heathrow Airport. Their Heathrow Shuttle service is cheap, reliable and amazingly fast.

Interesting start to The day

So I took my own advice and I crawled my lazy butt out of the bed this morning for a run. I was motivated and excited and maybe a little too excited... only a half mile into my run I crashed and burned. I faceplanted into the sidewalk, literally tripped over my own feet! I scraped up both knees, hands, my chin and somehow the back of my hand. It literally knocked the breath out of me as I tripped and fell. It took me a good 5 minutes to collect myself and I could have gone home then, but I made a decision. I was gonna finish my run cause that's why I got up in the first place! Tomorrow I'm heading to the gym, gonna stay clear of the sidewalk for a day to recover these scars!

Backyard Maze

"Just as treasures are uncovered from the earth, so virtue appears from good deeds, and wisdom appears from a pure and peaceful mind. To walk safely through the maze of human life, one needs the light of wisdom and the guidance of virtue". A couple of decades ago, when I was in my teens, this was the pinnacle of fun. Yes, a maze, it is made out of huge appliance cardboard boxes. We had to go dumpster diving for months in order to get enough. It took several weeks to build and then I invited some friends. First we did a Murder Mystery Dinner Party and then, after dark, we did the maze. It was much bigger than the photograph allows, taking up the entire backyard. We had a blast! My mother had crawled through the maze during the daytime and stuck in some "goodies" for us to find, and I had no idea so they were surprises to me as well. There were bugs, spider webs, play dough, toast, jello, pudding, noodles, etc.

Maze

Seriously, play dough is scary in the dark when you don't know what it is. All kinds of fun things, I think there was an airhorn somewhere too. My parents stood outside just listening to us yelling and getting grossed out by who knows what we were touching that my mother had put in there. They laughed and laughed at our expressions and talked about it for years to come! That night it rained and turned the maze to ice. It was even more fun to go through, but when it melted, it became too soggy and we had to get rid of it. This I believe is my favorite fall memory. I would love to do this again someday for my boys. But, it is not easy when all one has to work with is a forty-eight square foot balcony. Yet another reason why I would love to live in the country! Did you ever do something like this as a teen? Would you consider doing it for your teens?
